VIVIAN VU, M.D.
Dr. Vivian Vu is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician, and an expert in Obesity Medicine and Integrative & Anti-Aging Medicine. She grew up in Baton Rouge, LA, and has been a Physician since 2007:

Dr. Vu is the Founder of LA PRIMARY CARE, and co-Founded LA COSMEDIC in 2017 to bring you comprehensive noninvasive Wellness and Weight Loss services. She has a strong interest and passion in the field of Integrative and Anti-Aging Medicine. Although she enjoys treating chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension and obesity in her traditional practice, she remains passionate about preventing disease through treating patients "wholistically." She believes in treating each individual as a whole rather than a fragmented collection of systems. This patient-centered approach bridges the gap between treatment of disease and prevention leading to optimal living. This approach serves the patient looking for a more personalized and individualized treatment for their symptoms or conditions. Through bio-identical hormone replacement, adrenal health, and natural supplements, Dr. Vu is able to address an array of issues while minimizing the use of prescription medications. Dr. Ebrahim is has been a Vitreo-Retinal Micro-Surgeon since 2005:
- B.A. from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
- M.D. from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C.
- Worked in the laboratory of Nobel Laureate Dr. Carleton Gadjusek at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) while in Washington, DC.
- Intern of the Year award in Internal Medicine.
- Ophthalmology degree from Tulane University, earning three annual research awards.
- Chief Fellow of Vitreo-Retinal Micro-Surgery while obtaining his Retinal Surgery degree from Dr. G. Peyman. Dr. Peyman is the most published retinal specialist in the history of the field, co-creator of the field of vitreo-retinal micro-surgery, a White House honored medical innovator, and a revered member of the Ophthalmology Hall of Fame. Dr. Ebrahim is proud to have served as his Chief Fellow.
- Board Certified since 2004: 10-year re-Certified in both 2014 and 2024.
- Clinical Adjunct Professor at the Tulane University School of Medicine since 2003.
